Having written extensively for household names like Amazon, Diageo and Boots Walgreens Alliance, I am experienced in a wide range of fields including retail, alcohol and drinks, beauty and more.

I've eaten with and written for Jamie Oliver, created text for use within a diamond exhibition at the Natural History Museum and reviewed comedy shows by Harry Hill and Jimmy Carr. Life's a rollercoaster so carpe diem (order the fish of the day).

Aperitif

Johnnie Walker, Gordon's, Tanqueray, Baileys, Smirnoff, classic malt whiskies...

It's a tough gig creating copy for Diageo, global conglomerate of thrills and (ideally not) spills. 

Working with stunning teams of art directors, designers and motion graphics experts, I created delicious pieces good enough to drink. 

0.0% drinks became huge during my time here and it was intriguing to analyse such astounding market trends and apply them to my strategy.

 

My work covered B2C including campaign straplines, digital ads and CRM. For B2B I wrote newsletters and updates for publicans.

Soap & Glory, Sleek, Champneys, boots.com, Walgreens, Target, Sephora

Shopper marketing in the UAE, massive shop window ads in Boots stores UK-wide and point of sale in NYC beauty counters comprise just a smattering of the work I created for these brands.

Soap & Glory is fun, sassy and oh so cheeky. With a nod and an eyelash-fluttering wink to 1950s English cheesecake imagery, writing packaging and instructional copy was a dream. I also wrote press releases and social copy.

 

Creating names for the latest lipstick shades or eyeshadow collections was a daily joy. And if anyone can handle a TRIPLE Orangeasm, do let me know.
